NNPC Ltd Faces Financial Strain Threatening PMS Supply Sustainability
NNPC Ltd has acknowledged recent reports in national newspapers regarding the company’s significant debt to petrol suppliers.
This financial strain has placed considerable pressure on the Company and poses a threat to the sustainability of fuel supply.
In a statement signed by Chief corporate communications officer Olufemi Sonoye said in line with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), NNPC Ltd remains dedicated to its role as the supplier of last resort, ensuring national energy security.
We are actively collaborating with relevant government agencies and other stakeholders to maintain a consistent supply of petroleum products nationwide.

NACGRAB, Crop trust advice Kano farmers on use climate change resilient crops.
He also appealed to NACGRAB to provide more seeds for multiplication to the farmers.
Isa explained that the meeting would aveil the farmers on how to boost ,use and management of germ plasm collections for crops production.
He then restate the commitment of his state government in supporting the farmers in the area.
Some of the farmers who spoke at the meeting commended the center for the gesture.
The farmers also revealed that the multiplication of cowpea and sorghum in their various areas was successful.
The also appealed for the inclusion millet in the Germplasm.
